Library tour¶
The Brush Library ships with 30 built-in presets across six engines. This page walks through every one with thumbnails and use cases so you can pick a starting brush without guessing.
Open the panel with Window > Brush Library or click the library
icon in the Tool Properties dock.
Round Stamp family (5)¶
Hard-edge or near-hard nibs. The workhorse engine.

Multi-tip strokes with per-bristle paint flow.

Wet Mix family (5)¶
Real wet-on-wet color blending.

Search and filter¶
The library panel's top bar has:
- Search field (matches name, tag, engine).
- Engine dropdown (filter to one of the six).
- Tag filter (every preset has 1-4 tags:
dry,wet,texture,sketch,paint,mask,fx). - Source dropdown: Built-in, My Presets, Imported (.abr / .sut).
Save / star / delete¶
